:::::::: EXPO D'ARTISTE ANGLESA JEMMA JOHNSON :::::: FINS AL 23 JUNY ::::::::::

2 de juny 2010

Saturday´s inauguration of D'AQUI I D'ALLA was a complete success. The jam packed hours seemed to be the result of the good quality of art on the walls, the diversity of the artists showing, the warm weather, and a terraza flowing with beer and mojitos.

Untitled's guests got the chance to appreciate the paintings, photographs, instalation and video displayed. There was no sign of a theme, just the diversity in each of the creator´s work. A wall was set up for ten of the artists from TOG (www.tallersoberts.net) which made for a great preview of the upcoming Gracia shows as well.

The exhibition is running until the 9th of June - the second Saturday it´s showing will be celebrated with the help of live music. For more information on this event check us out on facebook. No doubt it´ll be as busy a night as the last one proved to be!

Friday´s dinner party

Friday's Dinner Party:
With the artists from D'AQUI I D'ALLA

Last Friday Untitled BCN held a dinner for the new group of artists participating in this week's show. The place was Origens and the food was typical catalan cuisine - so good that the small plates barely held the amounts we all packed in. Some guests had to clean their faces off by the end of the last round of pan tumaca. The beer and wine kept flowing and somewhere in between dishes everyone was having a great time.

Unfortunately, not even half of the artists that exhibited the next day showed up, but the party was still a multicultural get-together, hosting people from Australia, England, Mexico, the U.S. and more.
Our good friend and artist Xanu had the great idea to create "consequences" - that's a cadaver exquisito for all the spanish speakers out there. The result was pretty confusing (naturally) and you can get an idea of how it all worked out on one of our images above.

By the end of the night some people headed out bar hopping in Gracia, others braved the salsa dance floors of Barcelona, and some just saved their energy for the awesome inauguration the next day.
